About Us

Our Story

Morigit Women Foundation was born from pain—but shaped by hope.

Our founder, a resilient woman from northern Ghana, experienced deep struggles within her marriage. Like many women, she suffered in silence—battling emotional wounds, financial instability, and the overwhelming burden of caring for her children. But through courage and faith, she found peace—and made a bold decision: no woman should have to face her battles alone.

What began as a personal journey of healing became a powerful movement to uplift others. Today, Morigit Women Foundation exists to support vulnerable women in similar circumstances—those battling marital trauma, poverty, and emotional distress—with the tools, resources, and community they need to rebuild their lives.

What We Do

We take a hands-on, woman-first approach to restoring dignity and independence through:

  • Business Start-up Support: Small grants to help women start or grow income-generating activities.

  • Feeding Assistance: Emergency financial aid to provide food for families in need.

  • Emotional Support & Empowerment: Counseling, group support, and mentorship to help women reclaim their self-worth.

Each woman we support isn’t just a recipient of help—she becomes part of a growing sisterhood of strength, resilience, and transformation.
